Billings, Dr. EvelynDr John Billings AM and Dr Evelyn Billings Married for 60 years, John and Evelyn Billings are internationally recognised for their outstanding accomplishments in the field of natural family planning and natural planning education. Together, they discovered the Ovulation Method of Natural Family Planning - a method based upon the interpretation of the normally present cervical mucus discharge that accompanies ovulation. In 1980, the World Health Organisation named the Ovulation method after them, Billings Ovulation Method, and it is now practised in over 120 countries by millions of women. In 2002, they were jointly declared International Catholic Physicians of the Year by FIAMC for their multiple visits over decades to more than 100 countries around the world. John and Evelyn have spent their lives in service to women's health and family life. They are a truly inspirational and outstanding senior Australian couple. |
